Music lovers beware!
Listening to Wrappedinside will bring magic to the mundane, definition to the desperate and very often, vision to the vacant.
If The Police were sent to prison and had relations with Rob Zombie or Morrissey (it was kind of dark and hard to tell) the resultant offspring would no doubt be Wrappedinside and two of it's roadies.
Hailing from the supersuburban spread of Mesa Arizona, Wrappedinside was born out of a little black book of chords in a black widowed West Hills, California rental. The séance conjured up the song Soft Red Glow from the ether that still permeates the old soul that is Los Angeles.
It's minor keys and major moodiness that move singer/bassist/songwriter Greg Parker through all the paths of Wrappedinside's song-craft. Twelve songs and ten years later, the little band that should is releasing it's first single, it's first song, Soft Red Glow.
Along with Los Angeles' Jay Wiley on Drum Kit, Sir Kevin "Give 'em Hell" Cramsey on Fender Guitars and amplification, Wrappedinside has recently added musical icon and multi-instrumentalist Joel Atwood to complete the band with his sexy synthesis and graceful guitarwork.
The little quartet of instruments bang about beyond words until Greg's vocals wring out meaning and mischief with two little vocal cords.
The band is currently recording and releasing Wrappedinside's back catalog. Keep a look out, and your good ear out, for the single Soft Red Glow as it infects modems and internets from here to Andromeda on YouTube, Spotify, iTunes, Amazon MP3, Last.FM, Google Play, (here!), Bandcamp. Infinity and beyond.
We're always here for you guys.
